This year barn room rentals will run from Dec. 1, 2008 all the way through until Dec. 1, 2009 eliminating the need to clean out your barn space right after the season is over. The Cycling Center asks that all renters maintain a neat and clean space to prevent any damage to the barn rooms. Please call or email Susan Cottone (610-395-7000, info@thevelodrome.com) to establish a rental or renewal before Dec. 1, 2008. Prices vary according to room size.

24 Hour Record Attempt
November 19, 2008

This April Chris Paradysz will attempt to break the current 24-hour track record at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Kurt Bond, of Orefield, PA currently holds the record with 629.72 kilometers. Paradysz is conducting the ride in efforts to raise money and awareness for Lupus, a disease which his daughter lives with.
